vodkaintimate So many memories of this album. Bought from a little record shop in Dudley in 1985. Went to see Marillion in Aylesbury around Christmas that year and amazed Pendragon were supporting. Makes me feel so old now. Thanks Nick for your amazing work over the years 👍🏻

futureperfect93 Albeit in my opinion Pendragon really took off with their 1991 album „The World“ which established a sound that set apart the band as a whole with even better albums to follow (Window, Masquerade), I appreciate this bright sounding debut album with its smooth long tracks (esp. „Leviathan“, „Alaska“) and its shorts (with „Higher Circles“ being a gorgeous start with its optimistic tones). Great sound quality and nice bonus tracks on this edition as well. Favorite track: Alaska.

Petter Araki One of the most iconic releases of the 80's featuring super classics such as Alaska & The Black Knight - timeless classics ! Built around the amazing guitars and vocals of Nick Barrett and the keys of Clive Nolan . Love this one as much as when I heard it in 1989 the first time. The sound quality pf the remaster is also a huge improvement over the original CD.
